Don’t forget: drivers get into the car on the right side and traffic follows the British system so one drives on the left side.
The traffic laws in South Africa are similar to those in Europe. At stop intersections you proceed in the order in which you reached the intersection – first come, first go. On national highways, one can let faster vehicles pass by driving on the side strip. The passing driver will thank you by switching the warning indicator on briefly.
